Anthony runs the Lewa Safari Marathon!
Please support me as I run the Lewa Safari Marathon, in Kenya in June this year - raising vital funds for the amazing wildlife charity Tusk!
My story
I vowed last time I ran a marathon (in London) that it would be my last! That was over four years ago now - and time is a great healer. So, I have decided to run my first (and probably last) overseas marathon in Kenya.
I am taking part in the Lewa Safari Marathon on 27th June 2026 to help raise vital funds for Tusk to support a wide range of conservation projects across Kenya. The marathon literally takes place around the Lewa conservancy!
So, please support me in this endeavour if you can - my training is underway! I am funding the whole trip myself so any donation goes to Tusk, which is an amazing wildlife/conservation organisation:
- It partners with 75 projects across 26 countries right across Africa
- Has invested over £130 million since it was founded - in direct conservation activity
- Benefitted over 40 threatened species
- Supports partners who cover more than 50 million hectares of wild ecosystems, including vital freshwater and coastal marine habitats
- With more than 10million + people benefitting from Tusk's work
